Huai Hua, or the Scholar's Blossom as we call it, is a rare and special treat. Wild harvested from the mountain slopes of Laoshan, this little flower has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries to help cool the body and reduce inflammation.
Known as the Pagoda Tree in Japan, and the Scholar's Tree in china, legend said that if one of these trees was planted in the garden, it would bestow blessing on the scholars of the household so that they could pass their imperial exams.
This tea was wild harvested in the spring of 2021 at an elevation of 500 meters. It was then hand processed in the same style as a green tea to create a unique and delicious flavor that is floral, sweet, and fruity.
We have limited qualities available this year, and once it's gone there wont be anymore until next spring.
